(Palm Beach, FL – May 16, 2016) – The Palm Beach Show Group, the country’s leading producer of fine art, antique and jewelry shows, announced that it will take over ownership and production of the Palm Beach Fine Craft Show, carrying on a prestigious tradition and staple in the Palm Beach arts season. Building on the Palm Beach Show Group’s 14 years of success and experience in bringing together exhibitors and collectors from all over the world, this announcement comes as an exciting enhancement to the roster of events already on the schedule for the 2016/2017 show season.
Previous show owner, Elizabeth Kubie, made the decision to sell the well-established Palm Beach Fine Craft Show to Scott Diament, CEO and President of the Palm Beach Show Group. Kubie has agreed to offer her expertise and act as a consultant to the Palm Beach Show Group, which intends to elevate the Fine Craft Show, already one of the leading events of this type, to an international contemporary fine craft event on par with the top art fairs. Featuring over 150 artists, the Palm Beach Fine Craft Show will return to the Palm Beach County Convention Center for its 14th edition February 16-19, 2017. The Fine Craft Show will be co-located with the renowned Palm Beach Jewelry, Art & Antique Show which brings over 50,000 attendees over its duration in Palm Beach.
The Palm Beach Show Group plans to expand its portfolio to include very high level Fine Craft Shows to other cities, beginning with the Baltimore Fine Craft Show on August 25-28, 2016 collocated with the prominent Baltimore Art, Antique & Jewelry Show at the Baltimore Convention Center.
These exciting new Fine Craft Shows will feature the nation’s leading craft artists in juried exhibitions with a majority of the artists having previously participated in the Smithsonian Fine Craft Show and the Palm Beach Fine Craft Show, two of the country’s premier fine craft events.
Applications are now being accepted by Juried Art Services, provider of application, review and artist selection services for premier art museums, organizations and art fairs.
